Even before the upgrades, one aircraft (R7134) used as Airborne Command Post, while another (R3702) was equipped with
extensive electronic surveillance equipment. The conversions increased their cruising speed from 250 to 330 kph with their range
extended from 2500 to 4000 km together with an increased payload of 1000 kg.
