Herald Reporter - 23 December 2007

THREE hundred Zimbabwe National Army members graduated from a grueling three-month course in using armoured personnel carriers,
tanks and armoured cars at
Mechanised Brigade in Inkomo last week.

Addressing the graduates, Commanding Officer
Parachute Regiment, Lieutenant Colonel Charles Mazaiwana congratulated the 11
women soldiers who were part of the group for excelling during night tactics.

The third best student was Private Dorcas Charehwa.

"Mechanised induction course is a package designed to introduce newly-posted members to the equipment and functions of the
mechanised forces," said the Colonel.

The course content covered armoured battle drills, mechanised deployment tactics and operations of the armoured vehicles.
